It's been a long, long time now since i posted my last quiz. Though I did come here more than a couple of times to break the break, somehow the right questions refused to form. ( this being amongst the other mis-consequences of the last World Cup!!) So i finally decided to break the ice the easier way. Presenting 5 non-original (but good) questions to tickle your cricket-brain. Cheers!
Q.1 Chaminda Vaas just scored his first century in his 97th Test - is this a record? And who holds the record for ODIs ? ( posted by Manesh Rawal from Delhi on Cricinfo.com )
Q.2 This man of many accomplishments was also the first Jew to lead a team in International Cricket. Name him. ( Cricinfo magazine, Oct 2004)
Q.3 Who is the only man to have scored two centuries in his 100th test? ( Cricinfo magazine, Jan 2007)
Q.4 He is the only man to have taken a hat-trick at Lord's. Strangely enough, he is also the only man to have been no-balled for throwing at Lord's. Who? ( Re-worded, Cricinfo magazine, Feb 2007)
Q.5 At a function for World Series Cricket, media mogul Kerry Packer once suggested that he put on a tie. After he replied infamously "I don't wear ties," Packer told him "You'll put one on for me, son.". Who is the player in question here? All of us have heard him commentating.

And this to leave you in good humour, just in case you didn't appreciate the bouncers!
"It is not true that the English invented cricket as a way of making all other human endeavours look interesting and lively; that was merely an unintended side effect. I don’t wish to denigrate a sport that is enjoyed by millions, some of them awake and facing the right way, but it is an odd game. "- Bryson, humorist and travel writer
