IMS Learning Centre, Noida has some great news for the quizzers in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and other nearby towns. Arindam Bhattacharya, the Centre Manager who is an avid quizzer and a good friend has often talked about the lack of a proper quizzing circuit in the capital - the quizzing scenario is that much more active in Kolkata and Chennai. Towards filling up that vacuum, Arindam and his team at IMS Noida have decided to launch a series of thematic quizzes - they plan to conduct them on a regular basis at intervals of 2-3 months. A couple of corporate sponsors have already shown keenness in the project, which is only very good news for everybody. Who minds a decent bounty after winning the show? Quizzers have been known to be fond of good cash prizes and we will have good ones here.
Not very surprisingly, the theme chosen for the first of the quizzes is "Cricket". With the World Cup on in full swing from tomorrow, the timing for that one seems perfect. Here are the details:
